Hi! My name is Sophie Vivero. I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Certified Coach, and Certified Functional Strength Coach. I’m also a food lover turned fitness junkie. It’s not always been that way though… What got me into fitness – I was overweight throughout my entire childhood.  As I started to get older I suffered with body image issues, my self-esteem was at an all time low.  Then, high school came around and I became obsessed with the idea of being thin and having a six-pack. I submerged myself into different diets, ate very little, ran myself to the ground. I got to the point where I lost my menstrual cycle for 3 months and that was the turning point for me. From then on, I started educating myself, reading, chose Kinesiology as my major in college. Began lifting heavy in college and followed a structured program. I became a personal trainer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and fell in love with the possibility of helping others transform their lives. What I want to accomplish – My goal is to help those who want to live a healthier lifestyle, do so in a sustainable manner. No fad diets or crazy endless hours in the gym.
